It all starts with one brick or so the first sculpture you will see tells you. But again, one of the reasons you should visit the exhibit 'The Art of the Brick', in London until April 12th, is that you will see more than one million Lego bricks in one place! Seriously. Some sculptures, like the dinosaur, were built with more than 80,000 (right next to each design our curiosity is satisfied with the number of bricks to build it). It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I recommend it for adults and kids, there are pieces for everyone. The pictures will not do justice but should be a good teaser. Go!
The other reason to visit is the location of the exhibit: Spitalfields is full of food markets, vintage clothes, curious scenes, great people and interesting shops. Perfect combo for the weekend.
WHERE: Old Truman Brewery Loading Bay, 15 Hanbury Street, E1 6QR (tube Aldgate East or Shoreditch High Street).
