My birthdays were always famous because of these bombons. I still have a great friend that undisputedly connects one thing and the other (Ceci? You there?!)
It is a very easy recipe as long as you get the ''white brigadeiro' texture/consistency right.
You will need:
1 can of condensed milk (I prefer the unsweetened version)
1 serving spoon of (real) butter (sopa)
20 big strawberries grandes with the leaves (wash and dry them really well)
250 grams of dark chocolate (in pieces)
1. Wash and dry the strawberries well. This is very important so that when you cover them with the white brigadeiro they hold together.
2. Prepare the white brigadeiro by mixing the condensed milk and the butter in low heat,
stirring constantly so that the mix does not burn. When you see the bottom of the pan keep stirring for other 2-3 minutes to reach the right consistency. Let it cool in the fridge for an hour.
3. Using a teaspoon roll the white brigadeiro in a ball shape (make sure your hands have some butter in them) and cover the strawberry, leaving the leaf out.
4. Dip each strawberry covered in the white brigadeiro into the melted dark chocolate and lay them on parchment paper to dry.
Eat and go to heaven (my friend Ceci can vouch for that!).
