SHORT SHARP SWEET TIPS

World and Travels Kids Décor

Considering we love to travel, to see the world and to explore other cultures, when we were pregnant, we made a commitment to share our passion with our son and carry him around everywhere we went afterwards. Most people called us crazy back then, but today (our son is almost 6) he’s been the best travel buddy we could ask for (maybe we got him used to it very early!).

So, when he grew out of his first baby room décor (which, by the way, was also travel inspired but in 6 small Alaskan animal prints) I figure it was time to stretch the ‘explorer’ theme by having a major world map wallpaper right next to his bed. I opted for this one which I thought was very kid friendly from Amazon.com:

You can buy this one or check other options at Amazon.com by typing 'world map wallpaper' on their search!

It is amazing to see that my son has developed an interest for the countries, their icons (the map is very colorful and full of illustrations) and their flags.

It is not very complicated to bring into a room the theme of travels or exploration. I have curated a few pieces that can inspire you.

This makes for a super bed light at night!
